Music Ministries
Our First Service features our Praise Band while the second service has our Chancel Choir. We have a wonderful music program at Cedar Cross; it is a special feature that enhances our awareness of God’s presence and grace and the invitation to follow and grow in Christ.
Along with our vocal choir and our Bell Choir, many fine vocal and instrumental musicians provide special music throughout the year to help deepen our connection with God and each other.
Chancel Choir
This adult choir rehearses Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00pm in the Centrum and sings at the 11 a.m. worship service. New singers are welcome. The choir takes a break during the summer. The Music Director is Nissa Ludwig.
Bell Canto
Rehearses Wednesday from 6:30-7:30pm in the Choir room. We are pleased we now have three octaves of hand bells. The Bell Choir takes a summer break. Director is Nissa Ludwig.
Praise Band
Our praise band brings a contemporary feel to the music during our early worship service. Rehearsals are held as schedule permits. A fun, alternative music style to enjoy. Directed by Mark Wilder, the band features acoustic guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and of course, singers!
